Finally got one

Picked up our 2018 Rockwood A213hw Thursday. I looked and looked for something we could get under our covered backyard carport and could pull with our Tacoma. The DH and I can't wait to make our first trip in a few weeks.

We pulled it 60 miles from the RV dealership, all interstate. 70-75mph no problem. Of course not loaded though. Had sway bars and electric brake controller installed there. Only problem DH had was seeing behind him. 6500# towing capacity, should be fine you I hope.

Glad too hear it towed well. May want to watch your speed, I believe max speed on the Rockwood is 65 mph.

DH checked the speed rating on tire before we set out. Said 75mph on tire. Will look at it more closely tomorrow. All I know is they are 14 inch tires.

If spouse can't see behind him while towing, then you'll need to pick up some towing mirrors to strap on when pulling the trailer.

Yep. We got CIPA mirrors from eTrailer and couldn't be happier. Made for our specific truck/mirrors, go on in less than a minute, cheap and if there is someone behind us I see them. A little tricky to adjust, but other than that perfect,.
