believe it or not we are getting ready again for the camping season. we have booked our first site close to home on the may long weekend ...
i was a bit surprised to see about 1/3 of the sites already taken .. but still got the gem of the campground ..

Glad to hear that you got a good site. Popular campgrounds here are already fully booked for June & July.

Yep, we've booked about 6 trips now (or is it 7?) and have seen a lot of spots taken in the more popular parks - three parks even had all the reservable spots taken for the early holiday weekends... We tend to book a handful of parks at key times and then wing it for the rest of the year whenever the mood strikes, but if there is some place you really want, or if you want a particular spot you have to book early these days.

yep .. since my last post we are on our fourth booking now .... a semi major trip up to north ontario .. where most to the sites are 3/4 taken.

I booked a site in Jan for Jul and since we just got a new TT we are booking more. I cannot wait to get out there.
