First Trip Coming Up Sunday

Please pray that the Houston weather clears up as it's suppose to...leaving Sunday morning after Sunday School to go to Brazos Bend State Park...will stay two nights and come back Tuesday morning...the high Tuesday should be 45 and that's too cold for wife so will be coming back soon as we get up and eat breakfast.

I'm excited...after the ice melts still got to work on setting up bike racks.

Looks like you got your wish. The weather is bright, sunny and above freezing. High today of 59. Perfect for BBSP, except maybe for alligator watching. But they may come out to sun bathe on the trails.

Camper was packed and hooked up to TV...was getting excited...got up this morning and looked at weather....Monday night (tomorrow) low 30 (which I could live with) but then sleet and snow in the early morning and snow Tuesday.

Wind was blowing a bit and was going to get stronger as the front moves in...did not want to get caught on Houston freeways in freezing rain or snow...so we backed out on going this week. Wife has a weak heart so any wind really messes her up even on her bicycle.

Guys at church want us to join their club...they camp once a month in different locations...may try that but not sure if that's our style of camping.

Oh, well...there is always next weekend.
