Smile First Trip in 2014 Flagstaff T12DDST

Had a fun time dry camping at New Brighton State Beach Campground. Our first time out and I think things went pretty well. The only must have item for next time would be a mattress topper for the rear dinette. Anyone else purchase a Full XL mattress topper for their A Frame? Wondering what is the best "size" is the depth (3", 4") or is density (4 lb, 5 lb) more important?
We did not buy a battery meter until after we returned home, so not sure how low the battery was after two days. We only used the light over the front dinette and then only with one light bulb because we forgot to replace the bulb after we removed it to try to find some LED replacements. (Ordered the LEDs and they were waiting for us when we returned, did not time that well for this trip.) Other than that and the water pump, I think we mostly used propane.
Looking forward to the next trip to Half Moon Bay!

Congratulations on making your first outing a dry camp. Mine was too and I made it three nights with hardly a draw on the battery. With the LEDs, you will be good to go.

We had a 2" mattress topper on ours that we moved over from our hybrid. We're moving to a 4" for this year.

We opted for an eight inch gel filled memory foam mattress. We sleep like babies!

Did you know that FR has an electric mattress? Very well made and sooo comfortable; its a short queen. If you go where there is electrical hookup it can't be beat.

Yes but we have the double dinette. It is a thought to replace the cushions with the mattress, but do not really have the storage space for the cushions! We picked up the 2" - 4 lb. memory foam topper last night. Have it laying on my futon hoping it will "puff" up some. It is not 2" right now, they vacuum packed it for delivery!
Thank you everyone for your replies!
