First trip with our 2016 T21DMHW

Packed and ready for the first outing in our newly purchased 2016 T21DMHW.

Made a few modifications. Removed the large dining table and replaced it with the small side table. Removed the shower walls as we have no plans to use the bathroom. Converted the shower stall into clothes storage. Added a 2-inch memory foam pad and thickly quilted mattress pad to the mattress.

Tomorrow morning we depart on a two week trip that includes camping in SC, WV, and PA.

Happy trails Colonel, but ya gotta camp at least one night in Tennessee, as you travel through.

Happy Camping!!! We just got home from Elkmont in Tennessee...located only 40 minutes from our house. We have a 2016 T19QBHW and love it. Already used it on 8 camping trips. Enjoy!

Thanks. Sorry no TN this trip. We are stopping 2 nights in SC, 2 nights in WV, and then 7 days in NW PA. Staying at the same parks on the return trip. For this first trip we are keeping it simple.

Hope to camp in TN on our next trip north.

If you're referring to Elkmont campground in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, we love that campground. Site F8 is one of our favorite sites anywhere.
One night, we had an intruder in the form of a large black bear who decided to help himself to some of our provisions that we mistakenly left out. (That is one of those things that a camper only does once LOL)
and happy camping

shower wall removal

I have a new 2016 A214 with the same (I think) hard side shower walls and glass door. I also removed them, saved about 75 pounds of unnecessary weight. Shower curtain and frame remains, but not used as we use outside shower almost exclusively. a great modification!
