First Use of 2013 Flagstaff 12BH
Spent 3 days at a fairly small, `primitive`campground. One water tap at the entrance to the campground, so no power, water, or sewer on site. Dropped off the trailer and headed straight to Canadian Tire for 2 large water containers. I brought my 1000 watt generator/invertor. The generator was too small to use either the a/c or the microwave so i'll have to test them another time. Other than that the A frame was awesome! Proven grandkid proof! Lol.
My 2012 Jeep Wrangler 4 door pulled the trailer very well and the self-actuating brakes were balanced perfect right off the dealership lot. Using a class 3 hitch, very little price difference between the class 2 and 3.
It rained quite hard the first night, big rain drops. No issues with any moisture. I keep a candle burning when its damp just to keep the dampness down.
The fantastic fan IS fantastic. Open the windows and crank on the fan and the air starts moving immediately and kept the trailer nice and cool. Having the fan located right above the stove is nice too, i bet they planned that! Lol. The fan also worked like a bug zapper. Turn the fan on high and the bugs are sucked to the screen and they can't escape, a paper towel finishes off those pesky intruders.
LOTS of poplar and cottonwood tree fluff the whole time. Just before I lower the frame, i lightly rolled a lint roller over the screens. Poof! No more fluff.
And just use a torn off piece of the lint roller to get into the corners of the screens.
For cleaning, I use Windex on ALL surfaces, including the floor. It even cleans up grandkid paw prints and leaves no residue.
That's my first use report.
