Flagstaff T12RB

We bought a new Flaggstaff T12RB in 2012 and took it to Alaska this summer. We both love it. BUT---why isn't there a screen on the curb side window? I noticed that right after we bought it and built one. Glad I did because the mosquitoes in Alaska and the Yukon would have dragged us out of the camper. Also installed one of the "As seen on TV" magnetic screen doors. Both were great investments.

Look for a thin channel surrounding the window opening. That is where the bead that holds the screen on would go. It is possible that the screen on yours was damaged and removed but not replaced or simply missed in the fabrication of the window.

As long as your mod works, then no need to make a repair.

For you folks that got a screen for the window on the door side of your A-frame-----is it on the inside or outside of the window??? I'm just curious.

If you're inside the trailer, its inside the window. Its the same for the kitchen window. So from the outside, with the windows closed, if the screens were to fall off, they'd fall inside the trailer.

Thanks for the info. I should have jumped on the dealer when I noticed it but they are a two hour drive away. I have since found they aren't the best on following up on claims. I needed a project the day I fabricated the screen anyway.

Well, you wouldnt have known they were missing if they were the only dealer you went to. Its great that you have the skill & initiative to resolve it yourself!
