110 didn't help. Again, all outside coils and lines were hot to the touch. We'll check for greenish leaks when we stop at the next rest area. We'll also tap on all the lines to break up any blockages.

More to follow!!

Thanks again guys!!!!

Seems you can rule out power supply/thermostat problems because he's got a hot boiler and stack which means he's burning fuel or using electric. He's heating the gas but seems the process stops there. FarfromStock can you see the condenser by removing the roof cover? Its only two screws and you could find a large nest up there. No condenser means no liquid no refrig action. The condenser will be more tubes horizontal with fins, it must get good air flow to allow the process to work. As for the green leak, it will be accompanied by the strong smell of Ammonia, like someone dumped a bottle in you fridge. I all else fails:

Call 1800 544 4881 Dometic and ask for service phone help, they have seen more of this than anyone.

I agree with Vince.

Index of Troubleshooting Pages

This is a problem with the ammonia system.
I would be looking for an ammonia leak.
The entire coil can be replaced.

We haven't had any luck so far. We'll be able to do some serious troubleshooting later today and tomorrow. And I've got the number to Dometic too (thanks Vince)!!

Thank you to everyone for the suggestions! I'll report back when we know something!

Ok, I'm finally able to post! A few days in central Texas and not much Internet connection. Painful!

Anyways, DH and I were unable to figure the frig issue so we'll be heading to the dealer next weekend. Had an issue with the furnace too (just stopped working) so we'll have that looked at as well. Thank goodness for the heat pump!!

I'll post pics of our week in a separate thread.

Thanks again to everyone!!! You all are awesome!

I was wondering how you were making out with this problem.
I hope you'll post what the dealer has to say so that we'll all know better for the next time.

silly to ask, easy to assume....youre absolutely sure you have propane? Made.me.wonder with the furnace not working too... dont slap me! haha

I did ask the service tech who checked.mine why it took to long for it to light & he explainef because the gas had to travel & be patient.

Dont forget to bring your Dometic fridge warranty paper when you go to dealer. You might as well have them sign off while youre there. :-)

Thanks for the reminder on the Dometic paperwork!! And, no, I'm not going to slap you - I asked DH the same question!!! We lit the stove burners to prove we had propane.
