Fuse Identification?

This has been covered under a previous A Frame thread but I cant find it, hoping someone can direct me to that thread? I meant to mark my fuses at the time & didnt...grrr.. maybe the member who shared his fuse findings (ie: Fuse 1 operate xx, Fuse 2 operates xx etc) will post again? Please? LOL All I remember is that it was within another thread and maybe last summer or Fall?

My apologies for repeating a thread already discussed but where is it? haha

This is the fuse rating and wiring use on my camper.

1. 10 Amp Water Pump
2. 10 Amp Air-conditioner shuts off
3. 15 Amp Propane detector, Water heater, Furnace
4. 10 Amp Inside lights Interestingly my LEDs still glowed a little?
5. 20 Amp Fridge
6. 30 Amp Main battery With this pulled and the camper unplugged, nothing worked inside. This was the only fuse that shut off the stereo and the nightlight. With the camper plugged in, there was no effect.
7 40 Amp is marked as reverse battery polarity protection.

Thanks! I too wondered how to label the fuses so I know what to look for the next time something doesn't have power. My electrical failure turned out to be a tripped GCFI outlet! Found out that not only the outlets lose power but also the refrigerator when hooked up to shore power! Another great learning opportunity!

As you found out Cindi, every plug on a camper will be "downstream" of a GFCI.

I realize this is an older thread, but here goes my 2012 T12DDST when hooked up to 30 amp plug
Worked fine, had to move & hooked up to heavy duty 110, the heat pump, 12vt system & lights work.
None of the plugins work. Oh the clock on micro wave works, just have not turned it on. All the breakers
I've tripped & reset, just no power to plugins. Note: when parked I had a solar charger on the battery.
Is this a safety feature, or something else. Trying to get set up for storms in gulf in case i need to leave.

If your outlets are dead, but everything else works then it's probably your GFI. Try resetting it.

I don't know for your model. But it's one of the outlets somewhere. (Might be in a storage compartment too.)

Hopefully somebody with an A-Frame can point you in a better location.

Thank you ! I got to look closer only have 3 plugins inside, this was by the fuse box, have to lay on the floor
to see it.

I opened the service side bench yesterday and found an addition to the list. The furnace has a 7.5 amp inline fuse that is only accessible after unscrewing the bench cover. So it is off to the store today to get a new fuse to put in my parts box.

Here are a couple more additions to the list:

The T19 and T21 Series trailers with the Power Lift Roof have an inline 7.5 Amp ATO fuse in the CoolCat / Water Filter compartment under the bed. It can be a bit hard to spot in the hoses for the water filter and CoolCat "stuff" but it is in their!

I ordered our T21 with the OEM Power Front Jack and it has a inline 7.5 Amp ATO fuse in the battery box.

We also have the 7.5 Amp fuse for the furnace as Pooneil listed in the previous post.

I'll list any other fuses I find as I explore the trailer more....

Note: Not all models, or trailers, will have all the Optional fuses.

I just replaced the WFCO 8735 converter with a Progressive Dynamics PD 4135 because the WFCO would never go into trickle mode, and would boil the battery water away if I left the camper plugged in long enough.
I had to move the wiring from one converter to the other one circuit at a time. I observed some differences from below with the WFCO wiring. My differences are in red.

Power goes through the plunge switch at the left forward corner to shut this circuit off when camper is folded down. Fantastic Fan has a separate fuse at the fan (3 amp?).
5. 20 Amp Fridge Fridge manual says fridge uses 13.25 amps on DC.
6. 30 Amp Main battery With this pulled and the camper unplugged, nothing worked inside. This was the only fuse that shut off the stereo and the nightlight. With the camper plugged in, there was no effect. On my 2014 A122, this went to the battery only (WFCO converter), and did not power anything else. The PD converter does have this circuit, the battery is fed directly from the 40 amp reverse polarity protection fuse.
7. 40 Amp is marked as reverse battery polarity protection. On the WFCO, there is no external wire coming to this fuse.
8. 7.5 Amp Furnace (Optional) Inline fuse located near furnace.
9. 7.5 Amp Power Lift Roof (Optional, currently High Wall models only) Inline fuse located in CoolCat compartment. Just follow the wires from the lift mount on the outside wall.
10. 7.5 Amp Power Front Jack (OEM Option) Inline fuse located in Battery Box.

What else I learned in the re-wiring:

- I installed a bus bar to join all the negative wires instead of the series of wire nuts.
- I installed a small bus bar for the positive wires on Fuse #4 above.
- all the wires and connections to the WFCO converter were labeled and were the correct minimum wire size for the fuse/circuit breaker installed. Do not use bigger fuses on any of the circuits - the wiring is not sized for more current.
- All AC outlets are located on the same 120V AC fridge circuit - and have a 15A circuit breaker. The GFCI controller outlet (with the test/reset buttons) is located right beside the converter (under the dinette left seat in the A122).

Just brought our A122BH home and set it up. Nothing would work off the battery, so in checking the 30 amp fuse I found the left fuse terminal was not making contact with the fuse prong. I tightened it a little with small needle nosed pliers and all is well!

Really dumb related question...where exactly is the fuse box on 2017 A122s? I would guess it is with the converter and 12 vt cut-off, but being a green newbie I am not assuming anything. Thanks...

In the 2016 the fuse panel is below and on the face of the dinette seat. It is the left seat as you are standing looking at the dinette.
