Fuse Panel on A122

I haven't seen anything yet on this, so here goes.
Does anyone know what the 6 fuses are on the DC panel in the A122? The 120v panel is marked, but not the DC. Fuse #6, a 20amp, keeps blowing.

Gary my first question is what's not working ?

20 amp is fairly large for most it's in a camper.
Is the converter charging ?

In my 5er there all 15 amp and I have slide outs.

Does it blow as soon as you stick it in ?

12v items include
Water pump
Fridge
Lights
Hw heater on gas
Water pump
Awning
Power jacks
Slides

You don't have some of those items

So let's narrow it down to what's not working

Hi. I think it's the fridge, but it doesn't appear to be working on 110 either. Pump, lights and furnace work. That leaves fridge and ?? (sterio) No awning, power jacks, slides. There is also a red light on constantly with or without a fuse. I had a light bulb moment, with a little help, and pulled individual fuses to see what went off. Found the three. Now I need to get a couple more fuses to test everything else.

Check and make sure that more than one of the Frig opions is not on. Having both the 110VAC and 12VDC on at the time could blow the fuse.

Thank. Only one of the switches is on. I might have had them both on at one time, but that was only after the issues. Think I have the fuses figured out. #6, sterio I think still has the red light. Will work on that.
Thanks folks for the help. That's what this forum is all about.

My only response to that is 'good luck'. Since the person that did the assembly on the 12v stuff might have not done it the same for every trailer, each one may be different
So far I have 1. Water pump. 2. ?? 3. Furnace. 4. Lights. 5. ?? 6. Sterio.

AND today hasn't been fun. 6 hours driving and I find that there is no 12V. No cold fridge, not even any lights!! Then I connect the 'city water' for the first time and flood the place. That #$@$ filter thing came loose!! So, not a happy camper. Another glass of wine will help, though. I do, however, have 110.
In Kaslo, BC for what they call the Sufferfest. Volunteering for a run, XC bike and downhill bike weekend. Distances from 2km to 200km 3 day run.
My A122 is so very, very comfortable. This is the camping life folks!!!!!

There may be a blade type fuze behind the outside (upper?) panel for the refrigerator that has blown.
Or
There is a (30 amp) fuze out front by the propane tanks that connects the battery to the whole system. It has blown on us when we were plugged into the "shore" power and then plugged into the tow vehicle at the same time. We unplug shore power before plugging in the TV for travel. With that fuze blown, could be why you had no lights or 'fridge and the battery will not be charging, so no DC power either.

The 20 amp fuze that you labeled as for the " #6. stereo" probably also runs the microwave and an outlet or two. That would be the main reason for it being 20 amp.

That's all I know for now.

If you are connected to shore power and have the fridge on 12v you will blow fuze's.

Just checked outside. The 20amp fuse by the propane is fine. Can't find one outside in either of the fridge panels. I will keep trying and let you all know.
Thanks to everyone for helping out this rookie. Rookie with all conveniences, that is. Previous camper was a Kamparoo with no ammenities.
I don't think the microwave runs on 12v. While there are no labels telling what each fuse is for, there are labels indicating what amperage they should be.

Solved. #6 apparently controls, at least, stereo, lights, ceiling fan. This was a fuse that was giving me fits. Replaced it and, so far, all is well.
Thanks for the tip about not having fridge on 12v when connected to 'shore' power. What?? are we sailors?
Again, can't thank you all enough. I am sure I will be back.

When you lose DC power is also helpful to check the in-line fuse at the battery, It corrodes over time/moisture- a simple fix.

There is a learning curve to all this stuff, but coming from no amenities to the A-frame is going to be great fun for you. You can keep your battery charged on household current or other trickle charger when stored. The detectors and converter do use battery even when stored unless you disconnect the battery.Just remember you cannot operate the A/C, heated mattress or microwave on battery or on your household current. They require the 30 amp provided at campgrounds. Be sure you get a plug to convert your 30 amp plug to 50 amp hookups just in case your site only has 50 available.Use only one power source for the frig, propane is most efficient and will run almost forever on one tank- coldest spot is on the bottom/milk will get icy if set to high cold. Battery is least efficient. The furnace will use up your propane if on more than approx 8 hours. Avoid frying food inside to avoid getting greasy film on the inside of the camper eventually. The water pump is only needed when using your stored water/not when connected to campground source. Keep a small supply of various fuses just in case.........have fun! I live in Florida with two Dobermans that love to camp- especially in colder climates!! Anne

Just a few days ago the problem with blowing the inside light fuse was solved. The wires for the lights come up thru the frame (for want of a better word) at the drivers side front corner. The wires connect to a switch that will turn off the lights, if left on, when the top comes down.
One wire was bare and when I put the 110 power on it blew the fuse. I taped it up and it appears to be OK. No idea why there is no rubber grommet in the hole.

Pretty standard car fuses. Just check the panel to see what you have there. Sometimes A Frames are wired a bit different. My fuses seem to control different things than others.
The one I have been having trouble with is the one that controls lights on 12V.

These are standard automotive blade fuses. Just take one to a parts store and they will fix you up.
