Generator

Does anyone know or have any experience with a Kipor KGE 3000TI Generator? A guys got one for $150, looks good only a year old.

It is considered like may products today, when it breaks toss it.
If it works, for $150 its a deal.
Parts can be hard to find, and the inverter seems to be the first thing to go.
25% of the reviews on Amazon are 1 star.

I've had the older model when it was branded 3500 (still rated at 2800 running watts) for better than 6 years. One battery and one carb kit is all I've put in it. She still starts easily and puts out enough juice to run a 15K BTU A/C if you turn most everything else off. I like the big fuel tank as it will run almost a day if you are just running it at @1/4 load. About as quiet as any Honda 3000 watt genny. No different than taking a chance on say a Champion made over seas as well.

Make sure it's an inverter generator and NOT an open frame contractor type generator.
