Good to know, Tom. Maybe I've been too cautious.

Or maybe my early 60's era breakers are slow on the job. Either way, tests like that have a place and provide information but are no substitute for best safety practices at home, so I have a 30 amp outlet. It was cheap and easy to put in since the camper is stored just outside the garage wall with the breaker box.
Still, I will use a 20 amp outlet at a state park because the failure of the breaker in a junction box within an unoccupied screen shelter isn't much a worry for the camper parked 30 feet away.
I would also still use a 15 or 20 amp outlet at home for short term use while working in or around the camper where the situation could be monitored.
