I traded my 2013 A127TH for a 2016 Jayco Octane 161 toy hauler. I am so fed up with the leaking skylights. No matter the efforts I've taken to eliminate the leaks, the leaks continue. I've taken it for repair while under warranty, the leaks continue, I had to have one of the smaller skylights replaced by the dealer and it was a non-warranty repair ($200), I've added extra caulk, I have used 3M tape and the other super adhesive tape (I can't remember the name), the leaks continue. I very much enjoyed my A127TH, but I can no longer tolerate the leaking skylights. Good bye folks. I wish you the best with your A frames.

Interesting. I looked at those models once and I thought to myself that I bet those skylights would be a problem. Congrats on the new Jayco.

Thanks for all your input . ..although i feel your pain.
Luckily i only have the one window....but to be totally true ...this issue is basically plaguing FR. Andwhat i know on a personal experience is another big issue with Chalet too.
Water sheeting down on a 45 degree 6x8 roof should not be handled lightly...and for me is really the only basis issue wh have have with our unit.

I would think that when the roof is pitched you would have the least opportunity for leaks. Water would be flying by as to it pooling with no where to go in the closed position. At least that's what happened with mine.

and the only lasting fix is Eternabond tape, applied to a clean bare surface.

FR has gone to a new window sealant method on the new models.
