Go to HD and read the reviews. I guess it wears off rather easily but if it is put on something that doesn't get rubbed it works. Also turns a slight color of white. One guy put it on his black boots and they turned a shade of blue but were waterproof. Didn't say how long it lasts.

The beer was kinda dumb. All the work you go through to waterproof the box, I would already be enjoying my second or third cold one from my cooler. Sheesh!
