Graphics Removal Rockwood A128S

I'm sure I can't be the first one to do this, nevertheless I thought I'd share my experience with you guys/gals. The graphics on the side of our new A-frame aren't really our style so I decided to remove them. It was time consuming as you might expect but nothing outrageous. It took probably 2 hours all said and done, and if you take your time and peel at just the right angle it'll save you a lot of time cleaning adhesive left behind. The stickers also come up a lot easier if you warm them with a hair dryer or remove them after they've been in direct sunlight for a couple hours.

Everyone knows what the "before" pictures looks like. Click image for larger version

And here's what it looks like sans the stickers. Click image for larger version

I decided to leave the name and model numbers on it just so it's easily identified, but overall I like the clean look with them removed.

Let me know what you think!

Hey that looks really sharp with the stickers removed. I plan on doing the same thing to ours, first thing. I may add my own wide stripes of a custom color, but in a simple, clean style.

Now all you need is 50 yards of real tree Max 4 camo! Mine is also white, I wish it was any other colour. I like the new tan and green ones. I could always hit it with the spray on Plasti dip like the car guys.

Actually, funny you should mention that, I've been thinking I'd really like to Plastidip mine silver to match our tow vehicle. I think it would look really sharp all silver.

I mentioned to my wife that I'd like to remove the decals. She said that she likes them. So, we compromised. We're keeping the decals.

Thanks for sharing this. I was wondering if it could be done and now I know! We have a new tan one and I wish it was white. Ah the grass is always greener. I will like it better without all the racing stripes though.

Actually, driving 75 miles an hour in a blinding rainstorm for hours will get you started on decal removal. Don't ask how I know...

I would enjoy that. My wife would not. So, we'll compromise...

Seeing a theme here?

In my wife's defense, if it weren't for her talking me out of doing stupid things...well, I'd likely be dead from doing some stupid thing.

Speaking of stupid things, I don't actually recommend driving 75 for hours in blinding rain. It happened once to someone I know quite well....

Well since you asked, it reminds me of a FEMA trailer. Plain-all white.
I would add some type of stripe, but that's just me. It's your camper, so go with what you like and makes you happy!

On the Facebook group for Aframe Campers, there was a posting some time ago from a guy who vinyl wrapped his camper; it was a camo pattern. I wonder what it would cost to have a custom wrap made? Not cheap I'm sure.

I had been considering some graphics along the lines of this...

Along with a couple lightning bolt decals on the sides.

Then your gonna need a MSDS sheet on the door.

It would take lots of work to get my decals off... just might be holding it together too.
About 1/4 of the unit is decal
