Grey water tank storage

Anyone have a smart way to haul your grey water tank on your A frame?

We use an Aquatainer. Spouse modded a hose to go from trailer to container. He also modded the remaining hose to go from trailer to sewer hook up (in the event that there are hook ups where we go)

OH ok. I misunderstood your question. I carry mine out on the toydeck in the aquatainer if no where to dump on the grounds.

Just let it run on the ground. It's typically just soapy water no different than washing your car in your driveway.

This is not allowed, and sometimes illegal, in most places.

We have run in to this also, It seem they are worried about the smell attracting animals not so much with the run off. We have run into more signs about campground having trouble with small and big animals.

And if you're washing dishes, etc, it's going to be more than "just soapy water."

The camp ground where I stayed last year told them to use the dump site drain.

We store our 12 gallon Thetford tank in our front storage trunk on our Rockford 194HW. It has wheels and we pull it to the dump station.

tent campers tend to not use so much water as an a frame might with ready water access and all the appliances. when i tent camped i tried not to use pots and pans that would need washing if i could help it.

but yes, generally gray water, the mix of water, soaps, grease, food particles etc. are generally not permitted to be run onto the ground anywhere in any campground in the northeast ive been to.

i would not want to be the camper next at the site of anyone who say,washed dishes for 8 for 2 weeks of fatty, greasy foods and left all that stuff on the campsite pad. mushed into the grass, gravel, dirt of whatever the topsoil material was.

if i was the only camper in that spot for the next year, and the soaps were not harmful and grease was not an issue, then i might think about it. but if every camper did it on every spot they camped over an entire season all the sites quality would quickly degrade i think.

i drain into the blue water bucket posted in the earlier post. i dump that at the dump station, as a diswashing station (if equipped and permitted) or into a flush toilet (if equipped and permitted)... its not that big a deal and it keeps the area around the campsite a bit cleaner which isnt a bad thing.

The basics of the rules for many or perhaps most state parks is that if the water runs into a plumbing fixture, it needs to be disposed of in the sewer. It doesn't really matter if it is just soapy water.

I use Aquatainers and typically carry one. It rades in teh stroage trunk or the back of my truck.

For larger containers, what is wrong with the floor of the camper? In my old popup, towed with a SUV the larger Barker rode on the floor just inside the door.

Thanks for the storage suggestions; just trying to find the best place for it. Going on a couple month trip and space is limited.
