I don't use the grill for grilling. I use it as an oven. It has a temp gauge, and I can wrap stuff in tin foil, reheat leftovers when dry camping and then it's never greasy or dirty. When I am at a music festival or some other place that I can't cook over an open fire, I bring a separate table top propane grill for burgers, steaks, ect. I don't store anything I can't completely clean in the camper. I don't want to invite four legged trouble.

I gave my neighbor the stock grill, I use a Coleman I prefer. I use pans on the grill to contain the grease, so only have to wipe down splatter. Looks like new after 3 years.
