Grill storage

When I picked up my A212HW Rockwood camper from the dealer they recommended during the walk-through of the features of the trailer that I find some sort of a plastic tub to put the grill in so as to not make a greasy mess in the storage area under the bed. Anybody have any use for recommendations?

Go to Auto zone or some place like it and pick up a pack of these.

Tape one or two to a tall kitchen can bag and place under the grill, IF need be all you need to do is turn the bag inside out to dispose of the mess rather than clean out a tote.

I just use a plastic container that I bought at Home Depot. I keep most of my grill accessories with it, it`s easy to clean and it keeps everything together. I`m an absent minded 50+ camper that has to stay organized so I don`t misplace stuff. I keep the container in the front storage compartment.

The cheapest way is place it in a garbage bag too. I like the container idea though.

I bought a Coleman grill bag. My Sidekick grill and hanging bracket fit perfectly.

I Use a cast iron griddle pan on our grill to contain the grease . Clean it after every use. Then store the grill in it's carry bag in the front storage compartment !

We always cleaned the grill good before putting it back in the trailer but as it got older started putting it in a trash bag as rust falling off has been a bigger issue than the grease.

I use use a hockey equipment bag for our Weber Q200 grill. It has carrying handles and a shoulder strap. It's a very Canadian idea, eh?!

My 2014 came with a storage bag and I use it. But, I put aluminum foil in the bottom and it catches the drips and I change it every trip.

I don't use the grill for grilling. I use it as an oven. It has a temp gauge, and I can wrap stuff in tin foil, reheat leftovers when dry camping and then it's never greasy or dirty. When I am at a music festival or some other place that I can't cook over an open fire, I bring a separate table top propane grill for burgers, steaks, ect. I don't store anything I can't completely clean in the camper. I don't want to invite four legged trouble.

I gave my neighbor the stock grill, I use a Coleman I prefer. I use pans on the grill to contain the grease, so only have to wipe down splatter. Looks like new after 3 years.
