Had a great to to Prince Edward Island.

We had a great trip to PEI and then up to Gaspe.
We did 3100 miles with no problems.... Well one night we had a storm come through and it started to move the roof. I put a ratchet strap over it to hold it down, it was a very bad storm. All the campers around us was hooking up to their cars to hold them down. The 128 rockwood was really rockin that night( my wife thought we were going to die lol).
On the way up we hit hard rain for two days but no leaks at all. Last year we had a little guy teardrop 6 wide and went out West with it. It's a great camper but we both like the A Frame much better. If you ever get a chance take the trip up and around Gaspe.
We pulled it with our 2013 F150 ecoboost and got 16 mpg, about the same as pulling the teardrop.
Last year with the teardrop we got 15 mpg but it was more open roads and I was traveling 75 mph this year around 70 mph.

The one think that did give me a little problem was the refrigerator would go out (propane) when traveling. So I got some duct tape and taped the two lower fins inside the cover while traveling and then when camping take it off.
That worked great.
The covers let to much wind in while traveling.
The last few days I left it on propane the whole time. It was set on 4 and I had a water bottle on the bottom shelf froze solid..... It works great.

Beautiful pictures... we're at a campground? ... or just a secluded spot you found?

We were disappointed with PEI and shocked at what it cost us to get off the island.

Now if you really want to see fantastic scenery then push on to Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia and do the Cabot Trail. Here's a website to check it outCape Breton Island, Nova Scotia – Official Travel Guide - Home

We had a great time up there and whale watching is something not to miss.

And when you get disappointed with Cape Breton and really want to see even more fantastic scenery then you have to go to Newfoundland.

Been there----------------

Been there done that! Been to P.E.I twice. Loved it both times. One of the
places visited was Lunenburg & Peggys Cove just south of Halifax on
Nova Scotia. These two stops ( At Rugged Browns suggestion) was a plus.
It is amazing at Peggys cove to stand on the out cropping of the granite
rock, view where the "GREAT GLACIER" that covered the area left giant
marks in the stone you are standing on. All the houses are built on solid
granite.

If any one is going to visit, it is a must visit Lunenburg, It is stepping back in the "GREAT TIME MACHINE" as if nothing has changed since the 1800's.
What a great seaport Lunenburg, NS

It is a must trip for a third visit!

Pictures posted are very nice.

teh old fort is amazing. and all the art work and pieces furnishing are originals sent back to France before the English burned it to the ground on the last conquest.
Alexander Graham Bell museum, and the view from the trail.

We try and avoid Peggys Cove at all cost. It is a beautiful spot for anyone else to visit but I was an MP doing recovery from the Swiss Air crash there - so certain things trip me up.

if you think the bridge to PEI is expensive to leave the island you should try round trip from Saint John to Digby NS with a 34 foot trailer and 3 kids plus DW.
