Half umbrella

Hey all, I just wanted to show you my cover for the front door. I got it on amazon for around $60.00 last year. It works good in the rain.

I have three of these at home, love them. They're too short for my highwall though. I need to figure out a way to use one because it would be great to be able to have it over the door like this!

Half umbrella

Yea I had to add about two feet of aluminum pipe screwed in on the bottom.
Also I have a piece of rebar on the bottom to stick in the ground if I’m in grass. And I use two Velcro straps tied around the door grab bar to steady it.
Works good.

3 ft of pvc that fits the umbrella pole. Then drill holes so it can clear the door and you can adjust it. Tie it to the support by the door and steps. I have one I use with a half umbrella holder. You can mod the pipe cut a point to put it in the ground.

Wondering if one could use a full umbrella and kinda hang it off the roof; stabilizing as mentioned above. Thoughts?

You would end up putting it higher than the trailer since the point is higher than the door.
