Has anybody ever added a tool box?

Im sitting here at and supposed to be taking training and it hit me......has anyone ever added a toolbox (the kind you would bolt into a truck bed) on the tongue of their camper? My thought is that the propane tanks and battery box could be installed inside of this with holes drilled for ventillation. This would give a two-fold result. The obvious being storage and also a bit of protection from the AZ elements. Id love to your thoughts on this. Thx! Deb

Thnx shinysideup! You nailed it I think it looks fantastic. I like it better than putting the propane tanks in the toolbox. I could always use a bit more storage. Thanks for the great pics.

Wish I could do this, but alas I chose a Jeep Wrangler as a TV so ill have to forgo the added tongue weight. My 2-door just can't take any more. Love the mod however and would do it if I still had my truck.

I checked out Harbor Freight Tools yesterday and they have two tool boxes that fit on a trailer tongue. Highest price was approx $100. I'm putting this on my to-do list
