Have you installed an add'l bubble window?

I was wondering if I could install a bubble window into the front roof wall, as there is no window currently in the front.

Has anybody installed a new bubble window into an A frame roof wall?

I'd like to know what it takes.

Which year and model do you have without the front bubble windows?

I was told there were many configurations about the bubble windows.

We have not but looked into it. The windows from factory are not all that expensive. Then it's just cutting a hole in your pristine roof, applying the bubble on the outside and the trim panels on the inside and sealing it up well. I would think if you can replace a home window you should be able to do this job as well.

My guess is if you have a dealer do the work it becomes cost prohibitive pretty quickly.

The dealer can give you a price on the replacement full width bubble as is on the back or the newer smaller bubbles that are in pairs in the new units.

My first year unit has only the rear bubble and when we saw the newer models come out with more windows we looked into it, but ultimately decided we don't spend enough time Inside the camper for it to be worth the effort/expense.

If we did it, we would first caulk the outside and then apply the 3M sealing tape mentioned in various threads here for a great weatherproof seal that would require little to no maintenance.
