Heading for TRF highland fling weekend

Getting LCOW ready for tomorrows trip, flushed the water lines and hot water tank after winterizing them for last week freeze. Got the battery re-installed and charging, Checked the propane tanks, got garb loaded. Going to be a very wet weekend but going to make the best of it. Anyone else foolish enough to be camping at TRF this weekend come by say hello

Stay dry.

Hope you get some reprieve from the rain and if not, enjoy the added reality of experiencing soggy ol' England in Texas. Lol

Loge to see some pics!!

Weather was not nearly as bad as forecast called for, Friday scattered rain ended before I set up camp. Sat scattered rain never got heavy doing the day just enough to keep everything muddy. It did rain heavy around midnight-1am no problem for LCOW it as in fact nice falling to sleep with the rain on the roof. Plus it really quieted down the camp grounds in ten years camping at TRF I've never heard the grounds so quiet in a Sat night. Sunday was clear and sunny. We had a good turn out for the camping group around 100 of us camping in everything from guys sleeping in their trucks to tents to 40 foot RV's I was the only one in an A-Frame and it got the usual attention. Also the Queen's Own Highlanders looked fine marching.

We are going tomorrow instead of heading out for Black Friday sales. Although that $50 SSD is sure tempting. Maybe I'll sneak out early to the computer store.

great weekend the weather was perfect for camping and walking faire, Love all the Christmas lights they put up at TRF. Had a great crew to camp with lots of fun around the camp fire at night and great camp food. Really need to remember to not only take the camera but to remember to take pictures.
