Just bought a T12RB and still learning about it. My previous camper was a Sprinter van that had two 6v batteries which ran a 1750w inverter. This was enough power to run the microwave.

Has anyone installed a similar type of inverter in a aframe?

Thanks
Welcome to the forum Gerry.

How much run time do you get on a microwave off the batteries?

We usually got at least two full days, and our style of camping had us moving to a new location which charged up the system again. That's why I'm interested in putting one in my a-frame, as I now have portable solar panels that would recharge everything back up.

Any tips on removing the microwave? Near the radio looks like a great place to mount those 12V outlets!

Remove the four screws on the front and it will slide out. The power cord is long enough to set the oven on the floor.

I put two 12v outlets where the useless cable connector is, down and to the right of the microwave. Some have installed a 3 outlet power strip on the top of the cabinet, by guiding the wires down the side and into a small hole drilled in the cabinetry.
