How do I open the porch light ...

I'm driving myself insane on this one, but how do I open the porch light next to the door? I'd like to replace the light with an LED, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to open it so I can figure out what style replacement I need to get.

Guess the same applies to the light on the front (although I'm less likely to use that one).

At least now that we have the AFrame forum, people will know what I'm talkin' about

The lens cover pops out...there's tabs at the 12 and 6 o'clock position, so squeeze the top and bottom while persuading with a thin blade.

I was about to ask the same question. I've tried a few times, but didn't want to get too aggressive.

I've been switching out model 194 bulbs in the interior fixtures with LED's; what the bulb type under that porch light cover?

AFrame Porch and Front Light LEDs

Hi Spikedog. I installed this model in the porch light and front light fixtures: 9-LED BA15S bulb | S series | Specialty & Automotive | Universal LED Bulb Finder | Super Bright LEDs

Seems they'll do just fine and draw little power, but haven't tested them in the field as of yet. Other forum-goers may have their own faves.
