L@@K 2017 Hardside Interiors Are Here

I went to the Forest River factory today. The representative was incredibly friendly and helpful. He had someone go out to the lot and bring up a Rockwood and Flagstaff Hardside A-Frame so that I could see the new interiors in their actual placement. As I reported before, the fabrics for the cushions and curtains, cabinets, and flooring have changed. The exterior decals have also changed. The fiberglass on the Flagstaff is a little lighter than the Rockwood.
IMHO, the new color scheme is much nicer than before.

This is the new Rockwood seat cushions:

Bonus Pic:
After the DW and I visited the FR factory, we went to a local Amish town - Shipshewana. There was a lady that hand painted old slate barn shingles. She had one there with a traditional TT in it. I sent her a photo of the Rockwood Hardside and asked her if she could paint a custom one for me. This is what she came up with:

Thanks for posting pics. They answer my questions in another thread on 2017 Palomino a frames better than any words. As they say "a picture is worth a thousand words". Hope you enjoy your new camper!

I actually kinda prefer the older "cherry" finish on the wood cabinets. But, love the new fabrics on the 2017 Rockwood you showed above. Wonder if you could get a special order to combine the two?

Did they mention any construction changes?

I specifically asked that question to the FR rep. He said all of the changes are cosmetic.

As far as anyone could tell me, the only thing on the exterior that has changed, other than decals, is the lid to the front storage bin. Now it has several ribs on it. According to the rep at FR, some owners experienced some warping on the lid, especially in heavy snow regions. The new design will strengthen the lid.

I thought the original flat lid on that front compartment looked kinda flimsy.

Glad to see they beefed it up.
