Large bubble window on the A Frame

Pulled the trailer out of its hidey hole in the shop. It was set up inside the shop but folded it down to pull it outside. As I wandered around it, admiring its cuteness, I noticed the large back window appeared "sucked in", like someone pushed into it (like a dent) in 2 spots, it looked like it was melting inward. I was on a slow bend to freak out.

My construction man husband assured me it would be fine. He explained that it went from nice cool shop to direct sunlight and because of window design/material/size it would self correct once it acclimated to the warmer outdoor temp. I was fixated on the windows. He sent me into the house because I was so distracting to him, staring at my trailer window and wanting to freak.

I went to check it a few hours later and lo and behold - it was normal! You'd never know the window looked like it was sagging in those two spots (on the top and bottom center of the largest long bubble window)

Goodness, I am so glad my spouse encouraged me to walk away and wait...I wouldve driven him more bonkers with my "what if & why" questions

Has anyone else seen this happen with their A Frame window? Maybe this note will save someone from freaking out. I am taking it into dealer in 2 weeks to have fridge signed off, so I will ask about it when I am there.

totally not the story I was expecting. I was all excited to find out where I could order these cool "bubble windows"...

Still a cool story though!

LOL - sorry Roadtrip! I'm sure you could order these windows, but theyd prob clash with motorhome's window functionality. The bubble in the A Frame window allows a person to sit at the dining area and not have to tip their head when eating. The windows give head space needed. My 6'3" husband can comfortably sit at either the table or on the sofa bed and not have to duck.

i was thinking a side wall bubble window. Like a bay window, but RV style.

Put one in the bedroom window facing the rear - then be able to poke your head out a little and look 180 degrees around the CG.

Or maybe one next to the kitchen table, with a little shelf in it for herbs...

no .. this has never happened to me ...
i would however .. check for stress cracks and the seal around the wind .. just incase ...
i have taken the window apart, from the inside ... to check and issolate a leak. For the life of me .. i cant figure out how this happened to your camper ... as it is only a single pane window system ..

I first saw that post and I said to myself, OH CRAP!!! Either some freak of nature sucks in the window or hear comes another awesome interior camper improvement moment........LOL Glad to hear there was no further problems with the bubble window. We took our out of the garage last weekend. I finished up flex tubing every exposed wire & copper plumbing tubes. Looks good. Installed mudflaps, solar charging the battery, cleaning the wheel rims and the list goes on. Two weeks and counting before the first outing. Campground scouting this weekend and hopefully an inexpensive trip to Camping World.
