Leaking Skylight on Flagstaff T21QBHW

I hope my problem is finally over, but it took some doing. We bought the A-Frame in July and noticesd the bed was wet a week later. We arranged for the scratched rear skylight to be replaced since it was damaged during shipment to the dealer 1000 mile round trip). Shortly after the new skylight was installed we noticed that the bed was wet again and the plywood under the bed was water stained. Apparently the original skylight was leaking also. Had the dealer rework the window seal again (1000 mile round trip). The dealer admitted that they have had a number of problems with the skylight leaking because Forest River holds them in place with adhesive only with no molding or screws. The dealer said that Forest River will not address the problem and suggested that they or I install "eternabond tape" around all three skylights and the vent fan in addition to the new adhesive. We installed 3" eternabond around all the skylights and the fan today. Forest River should be ashamed to sell a product with a known construction defect and be unwilling to work to resolve the problem.

Forest River is no different than the others. They build them to sell. . Not to last.

Been there...........

This seems like the same situation I went thru last year with our new camper. It was finally corrected after our camper was sent back to the factory for a new roof, etc. Be aware that your mattress is electrical and any water leaks to it can be dangerous? My dealer and FR did finally solved the many problems. Because of the leaks many components were water damaged and had to be replaced. I never did find out where the actual leak was located. Here's a link to my story.

Good luck in getting this resolved. I know how frustrating it can be. Don
