Lost my radio antenna - help!

The Genesis radio antenna mast came loose and was lost somewhere on the last road trip.

It screws onto an M6 threaded screw base, but I don't see a replacement readily available anywhere. I am not sure I want an exact replacement, because the AM reception was very poor.

Has anybody dealt with this issue before?

Is there a better antenna available?

This antenna is on the side of my A122,

which I should have added in the original post.

The radio is AM/FM, and it did get the closest AM station.

I'm just not sure of what to do with it now.

Thanks for the feedback, and FWIW,

I researched what I could find, and based on Genesis having made radios for certain cars, and what antennas were available for those cars on ebay, I took a chance on this:

JDM REAL CARBON FIBER FM/AM RADIO 6" LONG RANGE ANTENNA SCREW TYPE

It comes with adapters, but they were not needed, as the antenna base has a female M6 base thread, and screwed right on to the original camper antenna base. I used the enclosed plastic washer to ensure a snug connection.

AM is fair, and FM is good, so I am happy with it. $10 and delivered with fast shipping. Also, it looks good.

Did that marine antenna work? I was on the roof putting my cover on the A/C and noticed a thin crack around the sealant on my AM/FM antenna and when I inspected it found it's wiggly...not very tight.

I loosened one screw and removed the top antenna and saw a screw that went down into the RV but when I tried tightening it, it just spins and spins.

To tighten it, do I need to, also, get to the other side inside the RV or do I just need to replace the whole thing? (It's a small crack in the seal and I didn't see any water signs inside the RV but it's been pretty dry these past few months.)

Thanks in advance!!

The base mount screw is either

loose from the mount threads, or stripped out.

Most of the radio antenna mounts have a flexible base that rotates so that the inside base part can be rotated to a smaller diameter and then put into the hole. Then it can be rotated to a larger diameter size that grips on the inside of the hole. When the base screw is tightened, the larger diameter base stays in place, as long as it stays tight.

Yours may need to be "reinstalled", or maybe you'll need a new antenna.

Thanks, Mick...my dealer emailed me back and said if it's pulled up a little that screw will tighten down but I should remove the sealant first then reseal it afterwards.
