Picked up a $25 3 cube shelving unit, turned it on it's side and 3 11" bins for our "dresser".
Lugged that huge table out and put in a small outdoor bistro style folding table from Target.
Trash can fits nicely next to it hidden out of the way as well.
Big outdoor pillows on clearance for the bed which will allow for more support if we want to sit up and read before laying down.
Found the little wooden letters in the gift wrap section for $1 each. Thought I could paint them for a little color if I wanted to but they are fine for now in natural.
Also picked up a Threshold brand shoe organizer from Target and hooked it up to those useless hooks by the smoke detector. Now it acts as a light shield for my eyes in the morning and a kitchen organizer for everything kitchen. I moved the 3 bin organizer to the top of the "dresser" for other odds n ends. The table can still hold our coffee bar and can serve as a dinette if the weather is foul outside. It feels so much roomier in there now!!!
I think I'm done modifying for a while. Now that I feel like I have breathing room and a spot for everything, I will feel much more relaxed and organized.
