My Gray Water Setup
This is my gray water setup. I used an Aquatainer, washing machine hose, and two brass fittings from Home Depot. I ran the drain hose behind the actuator arm for support. It provides the perfect angle to drain into the Aquatainer. The Aquatainer fits nicely under the back of my A213HW.

could you explain how this works to drain gray water? Did you install the black fitting on the side of your rig to your sink?

I used to wonder the same thing. Since the hard side campers do not come with a gray water tank, there is a fitting attached on the side of the trailer that allows you to hook up some sort of drain and put it in your own gray water container. This is only for the water that goes through the sink. The toilet has its own cassette container. The shower is exterior.

Not related to the water, but
I noticed you have a lift actuator.
How is that working?

It's working perfectly. Since the actuator is attached to only one side, as the roof is going up, I relieve stress on the motor by helping lift the opposite side. So as I press the actuatoror switch with my right hand. I gently lift with my left. I thought this would be a good idea since some have had issues with the actuator.

Myself, I don't use any plumbing at all. I park a 5 gallon bucket under the outside sink drain with a short (stub length) of garden hose attached to the camper side fitting and let it drain into the bucket, which I dump.

We do the exact same thing. Can't get much simpler.

I didn't know this was legal (ie to dump grey water anywhere other than a dump station) but guess it must be if they're manufacturing units equipped like this.
Is this legal in all areas of the continental US, or just in specific states, counties etc.

Living in southern Ontario we checked out the situation on grey water coming from our sink (it is dish water). We use a fitting on our Rockwood Freedom 1940 Pop-up with a cut piece of washing machine hose and a 5 gallon water container. Most places want you to capture the grey water and dispose of it in the washroom toilet or laundry room sink. This arrangement works well for us, having stayed in 1 private campground and 5 provincial parks this summer.

Not sure, I believe it depends on local ordinances.
Because I always boondock, I could just let it run out the exit pipe in the grass and call it good I guess but I don't like the wet spot where I walk (the outlet on my truck camper is right beside the front camper jack and my pickup truck door so I do the bucket thing and dump it a ways from where I have the camper parked.
I was kind of surprised when I bought this one (camper) because my Lance dumps the grey water from the sink in the grey water tank with the shower. Must be something new....no sink to grey water tank... because my Backpack has a grey water tank for the shower and a black tank for the stool too.

That is pretty much the same setup I use, Brimare. Quick to setup and easy to dump in the campground commode or at home.
I like the idea of the washing machine hose instead of garden hose. It is must be much less likely to kink.

Most places will not allow the dumping of gray water on the ground. We just disconnect the Aquatainer and drive it to the dump station when it needs to be emptied. Since this in only the sink, it only has to be emptied maybe every other day. We use paper plates so perhaps we don't use as much water for washing dishes as others. It centainly has not proven to be an inconvience.
