Mystery Part
I picked up our new A214HW Rockwood Trailer. There is a 19" aluminum rod with black, vinyl caps on both ends. The dealer hasn't any idea what it is for. They called Forest River asked them. The dealer said the Forest River said it was a rod for the closet. But, there isn't a closet the hard wall Aframe.
Any ideas?

Stiffener for the shower wall? Sounds like it is a brace for something.

I have that same model camper and do not recognize that bar. Might be handy to prop open the front storage lid perhaps? I hate those side brackets.

Often times those rods are slid into hooks or loops to make a hanging place once the camper is opened up.

My guess is it was a tool left in by mistake when manufacturing the trailer and is used as a support for the top or sides when attaching the top roof panels. I seen assembly lines in plants that the workers grab a pole or bar to assist in their work.

I have that same rod. Came with our A214HW also. Ours was inside the hanging wardrobe. I have found no use for it unless I run in to a rabid rabbit [emoji51].

What hanging wardrobe? are you referring to the plastic flip out bar built into the sealing?

It was an accessory we bought with the camper. Holds clothes and hangs from the ceiling. And the strange little rod was inside.
