New 12RBST. Radio not working

I picked up my new 12 RBST today and just love it. I got it home and set it up. When I tried the radio it did not work. It worked at the dealership. I called them and tried a number of things but nothing worked. Anybody have a similar problem? It's the newer stereo system. I really don't want to make another trip to the dealership.

Congrats on the new camper.

The power button should glow. If it does not, my first suspicion would be a blow fuse or some other wiring issue that occurred in transit. You can easily access the wiring by removing the microwave. Remove the four screws and the oven pull out. If it has power how have you tested it?

I took the back off and reset it. I also checked the fuse in the radio and all the connecting wires. It's not powering up for some reason. I hear I reset but the power button is not working. I guess it's back to the dealership next weekend.

Can you power it directly from a 12V source like a cellphone charger with the end cut off? Might be a way to determine if it is the unit itself or the wiring between it and the Power center.

Just went out and looked at my radio, the power button does not glow when the radio is off. I push the on button and the radio would not come on. I played around with it, took off the front panel and put it back on. Push the on button a few time, held the power button and during all this the radio came on. Now it seem to work fine. The last time I try to use it, it did this on a smaller scale. The power button is still not lit went off, that may be a clue. I will have to look into this more tomorrow. I will look at the manual then.

I could not wait until tomorrow. I went out to check wiring. I hit the power button, nothing happen. I then push and held the power button and the radio came on after about 4 second, seem like a long time. So I would suggest that you try that, I would push and hold at least 10 seconds to see if this works.

There must be some differences in the radios from year to year. Mine has a subtle but evident blue glow when off. It is a reminder (to me) of the parasitic drain on my battery when dry camping.

I had that happen last month. We pulled into the camp site. Leveled the camper, put the sides up, plug in the power....what??? No radio?!?!?! WTH?!?!? Checked fuses, battery, power...found nothing. Welp...then got the bright idea to just disconnect the power to the radio itself. Pulled the plug and put it back in. Damn, it worked!!!
