New A Frame Owner

DW and I are now the proud owners of a 2012 Rockwood A128S and new to this forum. Hi to all. We had previously owned a Jayco P/U for five years and traded it in on a 2010 Wlidwood TT by Forest River, in January of 2010. On August 22, 2011 as we where getting ready to go camping, a storm rolled in and the hail did come down, to the tune of $14,350.00 worth of damage to the TT. Needless to say, the TT was totaled and the insurance company gave us a check for $14,000.00 and hauled the TT away. We decided to go back to a P/U for many reasons but most of all because we like them. We had saw a Chalet when we went to Yellowstone NP in 2009 and we liked what we saw and we went with the Rockwood because we got more features with the Rockwood that came standard. Also because there is no Chalet or Aliner dealer close to Omaha.
Have been reading on the forum for awhile and read a lot of good useful information and I know I will continue to read more in the future.
Happy Trails to All.

Hello & welcome from another A-framer. Same as yours without the storage. We also went from a tt to the a-frame. So much easier to tow! So far, so good. Hope you enjoy it and share any issues/concerns with us. These a-frames are still relatively new out there and I have yet to come across another one while we are camping. Also, share with us any mods you might come up with. Happy camping!

Welcome to the best pop up club going! A FRAMES!

You'll love it. Mine is the 2011 A126 and I've really enjoyed it this fall (bought 2nd of Sept). There are lots of great a-framers here and we all look forward to ideas you come up with for your new A.

Congrats on the new P/U. I can't wait either to take mine out but alas, I have put her away for the winter as of today. Gave her a bath, wiped her all down and put her new cover on.
