New A122S owner stereo question

Hi All,

I just purchased and will be picking up my A122S this Saturday. We will be camping that night at a Hot Spring close to home.

Is there a way to connect an Ipod to this stereo? I didn't look at that feature when I was buying

Thanks,

Aaron

Not knowing what stereo you have, at the very least it should have a 3.5mm aux jack for ipod Connection.

Only in the recent year or so has the rv market integrated an ipod interface to allow using one the "normal" way.

Thanks f1100turbo

I bought 2014 A122S I am assuming that the stereo is pretty standard for Rockwood A-Frames?

i think the stereo has changed a bit over the model years - but i have the first model year and there's a stereo minijack that is AUX input and the iphone connects to it no problem. Later models are more updated i think so even on the oldest, least technologically advanced model, iphone/ipod input works via an AUX IN jack.

Yes, it will have an AUX jack. Take the iPod and a patch cable with you to test the stereo out. Make sure all three speakers are working.

3.5mm. The same one you use for an AUX jack in a car. I take it your TV has iPod control built into the stereo?

Thank you! I have a usb and 3.5mm on my car stereo. I mostly use the usb so I am glad I asked No TV for us though, just the stereo.

On RV forums, "TV" is short for tow vehicle and sometimes for television too.
