New interior lights for the A-frame

We decided to change the interior lights so that each side of the fixture could be turned on independently. Found these on amazon and they work wonderfully!!!! Installed the LEDs we had purchased a couple weeks ago, and I'm a happy camper!!! (pun intended!!)

Very handy, gives you options! Job well done.
I actually took a bulb out of one "side" of each fixture to "tone it down" a bit. I would like to get some the LED bulbs too. They seem to be a little pricey...

What are you using for led lights and where did you get them?

We ended up purchasing 2 each of the 921 and 906 LED bulbs from eBay. The 921s are just slightly brighter. We used one of each flavor in the interior overheads, and they work fantastically.

Here are the 2 types of bulbs we bought:
921 LED Bulb, Bright, Warm White, 24SMD5050 bulb, T15 wedge base
906/921 LED Bulb, Bright, Warm White, 13SMD5050 bulb, T15 wedge base

Just a note about these led lights. If any of the individual LEDs burn out, remove them and replace the entire bulb. A good friend of mine nearly had a fire in their camper due to this issue. Stick with the tried and true ... for safety sake.

i certainly like the idea of the double switching tho ... excellent.

@ D-mo; Are you suggesting that we stay with the incandescent bulbs? Suggesting that the LED are unsafe??

@ FarMoreStock; Thanks for the information, both the light and the LED bulbs.
Reason being; we just purchased a 2013 V-Cross VIBE. It was a floor model and the lights were left on for long periods of time. Consequently, several of the lights didn't work. They thought that the bulbs were burnt out. Fact was, the fixtures were melted from the heat so they put in new fixtures.
I too would prefer the duel controls because the double lights are not only too bright but they get hot pretty quick. I've been searching the web but wasn't sure what was a replacement and what wasn't. I found some LEDs at $4.50 ea. and didn't want to order 1 to see if it fit when I really need 8-10. And I don't need 10 if they wont work.
