New Owners of a 2012 Rockwood A122!

Greetings,

This is just a quick note to say “thanks” to all of your helpful posts in this forum. Your experiences helped us to decide on purchasing a 2012 Forest River Rockwood A122. Of course, like most, we have many questions, but I'll ask those at a later time.

Thanks, Ron! The photographs were set to “private” so I changed them to “public.” Hopefully that works, and thanks for the link to the FAQs.

You're going to have a ton of fun with the A-frame! We pulled ours to Santa Fe last June and had a blast in the national forest campground up the canyon to the northeast of town, just below the state park. Can't remember the name at the moment. Santa Fe is such a great town. We plan to return someday.

Hi Folks. Nice feedback on the A122! Hearty congratulations!

We continue to research the hard side models and are starting to lean toward this model. We visited the local dealer and found that the new A102 is a nice rig, but a bit smallish. The 17' models would likely be just right for our family, and we'd prefer to have room for 3/4 sleepers, if possible. A porta potty setup should be A-OK.

For the A122 owners out there .... Any reservations about the permanent bed taking up floor space, and only one dinette? When the bed is flipped up, is the space below for storage and AC only? (Of course, the advantage of this model is having a real bed!)

The other possibility may be the A126, but we were wondering if the second dinette area could be configured/modified as a bed, or if there is sufficient room on the floor for an extra bunker?

Many thanks for all the great info!
