Newbie
Just thought I'd introduce myself.
I've been a fan of these A-Frame campers since early 2000 when a classified took me to what I believe was a very early Aliner. The unit was bare aluminum, abou 15 yrs old at the time, and it blew my mind. I couldn't talk the gentleman down far enough for my budget as I was only 21 at the time, but the ease of setup stuck with me. Add in the fact that you get some actual privacy a tent camper cannot provide, the insulating value of actual walls, and a really unique design you just didn't see everywhere and I was hooked.
Fast forward to today. I've continued to look at these campers off and on for years, really wanting one but figuring out pretty quick that with a family of 4 with some specific needs, it wasnt going to be easy. I lurked around this forum for a long time as a guest. And it was here I first heard about the A213HW.
Finally an Aframe with floor space! When its just the wife and I in the camper, we can set it up with the twin beds, and have loads of room while my boys sleep in a tent outside. When we make our trip to Yellowstone and other places that my wife wouldn't be comfortable tent camping in, I can switch to the king bed with her and the boys sharing it while I sleep at the dinette. I'll be honest, I could take or leave the potty. The dinette would suit me better being able to seat 4, but being smaller it adds to the floor space and most of the time we plan on cooking and eating outside. But sometimes nature calls, and this could end up being the best use of the space.
I placed my order with my local dealer Saturday, and can't wait till it gets here. I have literally read every post in the A Frame section, and will have a pretty good list of things to check out during the walk through. Quite a good group of people here, and finally happy to join in the conversation.
