Shut the water off, relieve the pressure and take the faucet completely apart and coat all parts and the housing with Danco silicone paste and reassemble. Will work on the cold water for about a year, on the hot water about 3-6 months.

I haven't had the problem but would cast the all plastic faucet in the trash and replace it with a better one from my local orange or blue big box store. I did this on my old camper at the first sign of trouble. Just watch for clearance of the spout when closed.

Can you elaborate on just what you mean by clearance of the spout when closed.

On A-Frames the side walls fold inward for storage. So you need to make that sure your faucet, and anything else, does not "stick up" above the hinge line or the wall will hit it. Even the OEM faucet in my trailer requires the removal of the "spout" prior to folding down the walls.

Is the faucet squeaking only when turning the handle or when water is coming out? Our hot water handle squeaked only when turning it. The cold never squeaked. They replaced it under warranty. Jerry

The spout on mine if fairly flat and stays attached. So I take it, newer campers have a removable spout? That would make finding a non-OEM replacement very difficult.
