One side wall latch does not align with slot.

My brother just bought a used A frame and he drove it up to his house open it up and says that the one of side wall latches does not line up with the slot and I though I would see if anyone else has had that problem and it might just be he needs to re-level the trailer and try again. I will be going up to see him soon and I am looking for ideas!

Thanks he got a A122

Make sure the rig is level front to back, left to right. Then make sure that the roof sections have nested together correctly at the top.

I had that problem once at a temp site in New Mexico. I had to remove a screw to get the A frame in place. Once I took it down a few days later and went to another site it was fine. The problem was not the A frame but the site.

Raise the roof section up while trying to get in slot. Works like a charm for me.

Level the camper but leave the stabilizers up. Raise the roof, give the back then front roof panels a firm pull down from inside the camper. If that still doesn't work, then try lowering one of the stabilizers to prop up the corner a bit.
