Outside noise?

Thinking seriously about purchasing the A frame 213hw. Was looking at regular popups but was concerned about noise. I am a light sleeper, the DH not so much. Can anyone compare or discuss how much the hardside prevents camp noise as compared to a PUP? Thanks.

We found the sound reduced. There is insulation sandwiched between fiberglass. PUPs have no insulation. We have the Flagstaff sister to the Rockwood and enjoy our extra space.

My wife is also a light sleeper. She actually uses earplugs to be able to sleep because I snore. That would help with any outside noise as well.

Just a thought.............

The Koolcat fan also helps.

I run it on low, whether cooling or heating.
It is not loud, but it does help to muffle any noise that makes its way in.

I work nights, went camping after a shift, took a nap, wife had several people stop and inquire about the camper, I never heard them.
