Pets and camping

Last week we were packing our camper heading out to Indian Boundary in the Cherokee National Forest. Our outdoor cat accidentally got in the camper. When we arrived to our campsite and was putting up the first wall the cat showed up. She was traumatized and ran. After 7 days and 6 nights we found her in the National Forest. Be sure to check your camper before you leave your home. What was to be a 3 day trip ended up 7 days. Everybody in the campground was very surprised she was still alive...she's a big part of our family. We were very lucky.

Scary story but I am glad all is well. Our cat is an indoor cat and rides in our 5th wheel while we are driving. The 3 dogs ride in the truck.
