Picking up new A122

We are picking up our new A122 tomorrow. What should we be looking for when we go through the delivery? And once we get home we will be using the parkit 360 so wish us luck.

Take your time when going thru your walk thru and ask any questions you have. Check out everything to make sure it all works. Enjoy that new camper and Congrats.

Make sure to check all the dome windows. When ours was shipped it was on the bottom of the double decker trailer and the two front dome windows had huge scratches in them. I think it must have bounced and smacked the metal above. It is actually back at the dealer right now having them replaced.

Also check all the caulking around the windows etc. Ours had one spot that had a hole.

pickup

Thanks for the info. Alot of people have had problems with the caulking. The walk thru went well. We are suppose to have rain tonight, so we will open it up tomorrow and really inspect the inside and out again. Everyone has been so nice with information on this forum.

Looking forward to camping and meeting new people.

Peg & Tony

Yes, take it slow through the walk through. My 2013 A124S has a water leak somewhere, and the outside grill was missing. Also, buy the grill screens to keep bugs out of the furnace and water heater...

Thanks for the info. Where did you buy your screens for the furnace and hot water?

From my RV dealer. They can be ordered from Amazon.com also, but it's hard to tell which to buy for which furnace/water heater. I've actually not bought and installed them yet, during the walk through there was a leak somewhere and the outside grill was missing, so the dealer still has my A124S. Once that is repaired, I will buy and install the screens. If I have anymore info I will post it.
