Yes. This campground is an old school concept campground that caters primarily to tent and small pop up style campers. There are some bigger rigs that frequent this place but there are no toilet dumps and only a few camp sites that offer electricity...and it is only 120. There are latrine style bathrooms and potable water available but no hoses, you have to tote your water back to your camp site by hand. Primitive by some standards, but that's the way we like it. The good part is that the camp sites are large, well maintained and far apart. I HATE camping ten feet from the next guy...I like my space. The camp sites each have a good sturdy fire ring with a grate for cooking and a picnic style table. The camp site is heavily wooded with a beautiful creek running right through it. The sound of the water rushing over the rocks lulls you to sleep at night. If you really need electricity you can bring a generator but it has to be a really quiet one, we have a Honda 2000i that does everything we need and is whisper quiet. The reason we chose a small A Frame camper is because the campgrounds we like to visit are mostly like this one, not much room to maneuver a bigger rig. We like a clean campground with a lot of space, peace and quiet and this campground offers just that.
We'll be going back after the 4th of July rush is over.
