Possible new owner

Going to look at a new 2015 A128S tomorrow. Been looking for awhile now and we were leaning towards the A213HW, but it's $4-5,000 more than this 2015 A128S. All options except awning and power jack. Selling price is $8550 plus our taxes when we register. Prep, battery, full LP tanks, and starter kit included. Seems like a good price. Have plenty of truck to tow bigger, but want to keep it simple this time. Have had class A's, travel trailers, and a Casita. Looking forward to the A-frame.

Order my A192HW 3 weeks ago and will pick up in mid July. I had 2 travel trailers and went smaller. I debated for a couple of months and chose the HighWall over the others because of the larger fridge and higher cabinets. We looked at the 212 and 213HW and chose the 192 strictly for the fact that it will fit in the garage. If costs isn't an issue and you don't need the bathroom, go with a different HW model. It will be worth it in the long run.

Bought the A128S today. At almost 43% off was a great deal and liked the aframe. We travel light and looks like the floorplan and model will work for us. More room than the truck camper and casita we had for our last 2 campers. Will tow with a Ram 1500 Ecodiesel, so have room in the box for stuff also. Will be picking it up this coming week. How do we go about getting the 2nd year warranty from Forest River? By calling them directly?

Warranty

Congrats on your purchase! Wishing you many safe, fun travels. As far as the warranty goes, the dealer told me to call them ASAP after purchase for the second year. We will be towing with a 2015 Nissan Frontier Crew cab V6. Was waiting for the new Ford Ranger but that's suppose to be in 2018.

We looked at the Casita and were very tempted but really didn't want to pay for storage. Traded in my 20' travel trailer (down sizing).

Thanks. We were also looking at 20' travel trailers. From RPods to Clippers to Jayco SLX, etc. Didn't want the height to tow and wanted the simpler aframe. Hoping to do Alaska next year. Did some of the western states in 2005 with a Bigfoot truck camper for 4 weeks. Still only saw a fraction of it.

I think you got a great deal on that unit. They are going for nearly $11K new here on the west coast.

Yes, I agree you got a great deal. Alaska should be fantastic, been trying to get there for awhile. In the Midwest that unit goes for about $12,500.

No, I would have "LOOKED AT" the Ford Ranger if it was available when I purchased my Nissan Frontier. The Nissan does quite well and I am very happy with it.

Gotta ask! Why is the Ranger a downgrade if it doesn't come out until 2018 and you know nothing about it?
