One of the most frequent questions asked by new A Frame owners is about the Cool Cat. Take notes or record their explanation of how it works and also how to set the temp with the heat pump. The other common appliance with many questions is the refrigerator...ask how it works (3-way). The first time I tried to use mine on propane seemed forever to light.
My walk thru took two hours. I forwarned the dealer that altho my spouse knew what to do, the service tech needed to explain it all to ME since I would be the primary user & not mechanically inclined. My spouse relaxed and had coffee while patiently listened to tech. They ran the water pump, A/C, Cool Cat, furnace, refrigerator, water filter removal, etc.
My trailer was ready to pick up right away but I also negotiated the screen room in the price and it jadnt come in. I waited 2 more weeks for it to arrive before I agreed to scheduling a walk thru. I had given them 1000k to hold it & signed a promissary note to the effect that only AFTER I was satisfied with the walk thru (and ensured everything worked properly) would I sign the sales contract to purchase. They were fine with that.
Its your money that is being spent, so dont allow anyone to rush you thru the walk thru. Its very exciting so be sure to take notes and dont nod your head and agree you understand if you really dont. LOL - It all makes sense to the tech, but new to you - so dont allow yourself to feel guilty or intimidated because you are seeking understanding of how to operate your new rig. Woo hoo! Dont forget to share pictures of the new addition!
