Rain water leak on a 2016 model? Why?

2016 T21dmhw - a small rain storm woke me up about 4am because the water was leaking from the peak. Had to use 3 pots to capture all the leaking water. Very unpleasant especially when very tired. I have not had this issue in two prior storms that were much worse. It was a medium rain and maybe 10-15mph wind.

Once i woke up this morning i noticed the entire peak i can see light. Makes me think the seal is bad? I attempted to lower and raise the roof but still could see the light. I dont remeber seeing that much light before.

Anyone have this issue before?

The seal was likely badly installed and was damaged somehow. The seal on mine failed and a few other owners have reported a problem too. Since it is new, I'd take it back to the dealer for repair.

But it does seem odd that it would drip that much unless there was wind driven rain. So you might look at the apex very closely.

Check for a warp in your roof...this is also known to be an issue.

It's good they are being forward about taking care of the problem. Good luck with it.
