Ready to head out to PEI

Got the camper out of storage today and getting ready to head to PEI Tuesday. Then from there up to Gaspe should be a great trip.
Spending Thursday night and Friday night at cavendish park, they say my site is by the water.
I love going to new places. First big trip with the 128 A Frame.
Last year we went out west with a Little Guy 6wide and we had a blast.

Been there a few years ago. Really enjoyed it and need to go back. So hope you enjoy it. If you want to do some driving get a map of the lighthouses that are open for viewing.

Which do you like better? A Frame or Teardrop?

Have fun. Weather has been warm out here. PEI has a lots of great parks and places to see. "canadiancrew" is right on re the lighthouse trips

Pick up some of your "beverages" at the duty free in Main (assuming you are crossing there)

We were in PEI last summer. Some of our favorite spots; Victoria by the Sea (cute village), Argyle Shores provincial park (no charge, great place to walk when the tide is out) and Basin Head beach (we were told it was the best beach on the island and it probably is). Have fun, it's a great place!

Enjoy your trip- PEI is a great place to visit - take time to walk the beaches and go into Rustico Harbour - just a short 10 minute drive from Cavendish - weather has been great this August

Just returned from Maritimes and visited Cavendish on PEI. Anne of Green Gables farm is at the top of many lists. Choose your roads carefully. My GPS made a lot of wrong choices.

Not sure why the GPS for PEI is like that. Been showing cow paths as roads for years...

Thumbs up

If you get into Charlottetown, Anne of Green Gables-The Musical is being performed through Aug. 29th. Great play. Puts visiting the house/farm into perspective. Our caravan group loved it. Anne of Green Gables-The Musical? - Charlottetown Festival - Live @ The Centre - Prince Edward Island - Canada
