Refrigerator door lock

Refrigerator door lock
We just got to our camping spot and my husband turn the lock to open the refrigerator door and it broke into three pieces. Has anyone had to replace this piece of plastic and do you have ideas on where to get a replacement? Or possibly a replacement made out of metal?

Can't tell from your post what type of rig you have. Our TT does not have a refrigerator door lock, and I can't say I've ever seen one. What we do have is a little plastic piece slide mechanism next to the handle/latch, which is used to secure the door partially open (i.e, not quite closed) for storage so as to permit air circulation (at least that's what I think it is). Could that be what you are refer to?

Our Norcold on my tt and my last tt have them. Locks the door slightly open like you said Vern...

these door locks situtated on the upper right hand corner of your fridge are very common, so you should have little problem finding this in any RV shop, or service area, as most popups, smaller trailers all have the locking device.

If they are talking about a Norcold fridge, they are built into the latch. I would think you would need to order them. I think they are around $4 at PPL...

These were in our new trailer but I didn't know what they were! Could somebody post a picture on how they work?

Thanks for the suggestions.
In our hard-side pop-up we have a dometic refrigerator.
The photos of the plastic clip would be good but our refrigerator does not have a large handle. I looked on camping world website and all they had was something you have to drill into the refrig. something I am not interested in doing.
