Replacement shower key number?? 2012 Rockwood A-122BH

Well second post ever and I need some pretty specific help

I'm looking for the number imprinted on the key for the outdoor shower? When we bought it the previous owner had lost it and our local dealer says although it's a universal key they need that number.

Any help is appreciated!

Have you tried a CH75 key? That is what works on 90% of rv's out there.

CH751, likely anyone who cuts keys has a box full of them precut.

What kind of key is used for your storage doors? Is that not a CH751? Or do you have the slam latches with the R001 key? I have the slam latch key and the key for my outside shower is not the CH751 -- it is a small key with a black plastic top and no number stamped on it.

I changed mine out with the keyless Campco Thumb Lock. I didn't see any reason to have a lock on it.

Replacement Shower Key Number

Glad you got your shower open. Am I the only one who wondered why the dealer didn't know the key number? Something sounds strange there.

Ditto

When camping, if anyone needs hot water they can just open it up. When striking camp, I don't have to fish around for the key when stowing the shower.

These are not the best quality locks out there. On my Rockwood fiver the cargo doors are CH571 and the shower is a CH571.

But only the gold colored CH751 will open the shower door. The 4 other silver keys we got will not. Go figure.

You’ve awakened a thread that’s been asleep almost 4 years. The OP hasn’t logged in since 07-23-2016. Did you not see his success statement in post #7 of this thread? He said CH751 which is what was stated in the other thread where you posted your question.
